Cowboy Fellowship is seeking a passionate, teachable, and Christ-centered Children's Minister to join our growing Children's Ministry team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who senses God's call to children's ministry and is looking to gain hands-on ministry experience while serving in a healthy, thriving church. As a Children's Minister, you won't simply fill a support role—you'll be an active ministry leader. You'll teach children, build relationships with families, lead volunteers, help plan impactful events, and play an important role in discipling the next generation. Responsibilities: -Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive children's ministry program for Birth through 6th Grade. -Teach engaging, biblically sound lessons during weekend services, Wednesday programs, camps, and special events. -Build relationships with children and families through regular ministry involvement. -Help create environments where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus. -Assist with discipleship opportunities including baptism classes, new believer follow-up, and family discipleship initiatives. -Help ensure a successful transition between children's ministry and youth ministry. -Assist with planning and executing camps, Vacation Bible School, outreach events, and special programming. -Coordinate classroom preparation, curriculum distribution, supply inventory, and room organization. -Maintain attendance records and assist with ministry databases. -Help communicate ministry information through email, social media, website updates, and printed materials. -Assist with purchasing supplies while working within an approved budget. -Help evaluate ministry effectiveness and recommend improvements. -Work closely with the Lead Children's Minister to accomplish ministry goals. -Collaborate with church staff to support the overall mission of Cowboy Fellowship. -Attend weekly staff meetings, ministry planning meetings, and leadership trainings. -Participate in continuing education opportunities including conferences, books, coaching, and ministry training. -Perform additional ministry responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Demonstrates a clear calling and passion for serving children and partnering with families to help the next generation know, love, and follow Jesus. -Bachelor's degree or current pursuit of a ministry-related degree is preferred but not required. -Previous experience serving in children's ministry, education, camp ministry, or related leadership roles. -A teachable spirit with a desire to grow through coaching and feedback. -Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative. -Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. -Excellent relational and communication skills. -Ability to organize multiple projects and meet deadlines. -Basic technology proficiency including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, email, and social media.
