Memorial Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Pastor to lead a thoughtful, relational, and multi-generational congregation located just minutes from Washington, D.C. We are a church that values meaningful worship, deep relationships, and faithful engagement with Scripture. We seek to be a gracious Christian presence in a diverse and often polarized cultural environment. Memorial is theologically thoughtful and grounded in Scripture. The Senior Pastor will provide Scripture-centered preaching, guide worship in collaboration with music leaders, cultivate meaningful relationships, and provide pastoral care. The role also includes leading staff, working within a congregational governance structure, and helping align ministries around a clear and sustainable vision. We seek a pastor who leads with conviction and grace and can foster unity among people with diverse perspectives. Key priorities include building trust and guiding the church forward with clarity and purpose. Candidates should demonstrate deep Christian faith, strong communication skills, appropriate theological training, and ordination within the Baptist tradition or a willingness to serve within Baptist practice.
