The Opportunity We are looking for a Families Pastor who is called to lead one of the most strategic roles in our church. This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a leader with exponential vision, deep pastoral instincts, and the organizational capacity to lead a multi-age ministry system that encompasses children, students, college, and adult LifeGroups. Over the next decade, this position will lead our church to reach thousands of families with the grace and goodness of God across Kaufman County. What You'll Do Cast and execute a cohesive vision for family ministry fully aligned with the mission of FBC Kaufman Provide pastoral oversight to children's, student, college, and adult LifeGroup ministries, creating a seamless spiritual journey from preschool through every stage of adult life Develop and implement The Parent Journey, a practical equipping track for parents at every stage of their children's development Establish The Parent League, a booster-style organization that champions and supports next-generation ministry Oversee adult LifeGroups, ensuring healthy group life, leader development, and continued growth in the number and depth of groups across the church Lead the church to reach families outside the congregation, partnering with our Evangelism Pastor to make family ministry an active front door Recruit, train, and develop a deep volunteer base and the next generation of ministry leaders through our intern and residency program Manage budgets, calendars, and ministry systems with integrity and strategic stewardship Who You Are You have a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear sense of calling to reach and develop families You are a pastor first. You love people, you pursue the lost, and you invest in those under your care You think exponentially and lead with vision, not just execution You have significant experience in family, children's, student, or LifeGroup ministry leadership You hold a Bachelor's degree in Christian Education, Ministry, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred You are organizationally strong, relationally warm, and communicate with clarity and conviction You are fully aligned with the beliefs, values, and mission of FBC Kaufman To Apply Send your resume, a brief statement of calling, and any relevant ministry links to kjames@fbckaufman.org with the subject line Families Pastor Search.
