PART-TIME MUSIC MINISTER. The Music Minister is responsible for leading the church’s worship ministry with excellence and intentionality, fostering a worship culture that is both biblically faithful and spiritually engaging. This role requires musical talent, theological discernment, team leadership, and humility in service to The Lord and His Church. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES. 1. Worship service leadership. This includes but is not limited to: lead Sunday morning worship services with excellence, including other special services. Choose songs that reflect biblical truth and align with biblical doctrine and connect with a multi-generational congregation. Collaborate with the Sr. Pastor to align worship services with the sermons and the broader church vision. Lead and manage midweek rehearsals to ensure musical excellence and spiritual preparation. 2. Worship Team Development. Recruit, audition, and develop volunteer musicians, vocalists and tech team members. Disciple team members spiritually, fostering a culture where worship leaders are worshipers first, musicians second. Provide ongoing musical training and mentorship to raise the skill level of the team. 3. Creative Planning and Service Design. Incorporate creative elements into worship services (video, testimonies, special music) to enhance engagement and communicate the message powerfully. Collaborate with media and communication staff to ensure cohesive branding and visual communication that supports the worship service.
