Lexington Baptist Church began as a mission in the mid 50”s with God growing the body into vibrant and community serving families. Lexington is a deacon/congregation-led body of believers which has gone from a multigenerational body to an older, yet faithful congregation which deeply desires to once again reach young families, youth, and young adults who will join, grow, and serve in their walk with the Lord. We seek a pastor who will feel the same calling toward building and seeking all generations by leading the current fellowship to this vision. The church land and buildings are paid for and are located next to the main highway running through south Corpus Christi, South Padre Island Drive. Current attendance runs between 40-60 on Sundays. Lexington offers Sunday School, morning worship, and prayer meeting on Wednesdays. Above all, Lexington seeks God’s perfect will and guidance in a renewal of His Light for our community. Our commitment to the new minister is to prayerfully and actively support you as our shepherd/pastor and your family’s needs, as we continue to follow our Lord as His servant body of believers reaching our community.
