Nashville Baptist Church / Nashville, NC (Revised 7/28/26) Nashville Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Pastor to serve as our spiritual leader and shepherd of our congregation. We are a moderate Baptist Church located in Nashville, NC, about 40 minutes east of Raleigh, 2.5 hours from the coast, and 4 hours from the mountains of NC. While Nashville is thriving and growing, it still maintains the benefits of small-town life, perfect for raising a family. Our congregation is active, warm and loving, with hearts for serving the Lord. We are committed to faithful involvement in the church ministries through a successful team concept, allowing the pastor to focus on his unique roles. Our financial footing is sound and God-centered, thus offering a great opportunity for the right pastor to serve and lead this mission field with vision and purpose to advance the Kingdom of God. Qualifications: • We are looking for a pastor with vision and leadership skills necessary for church growth and whose life reflects the Christian principles of integrity, humility, and dedication to the gospel. • The pastor we select should have a clear calling from God, both to the ministry and to be the pastor of Nashville Baptist Church. • As the congregation’s spiritual guide, the pastor will be expected to perform the leadership duties that pertain to worship, preaching, teaching, counseling, visiting and such other activities that may enrich the spiritual life of the church and community. • A degree in theology, divinity, or a related field from an accredited institution (M.Div. or equivalent is preferred). • The candidate should have strong pastoral care, leadership, organizational and administrative abilities to include excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
